Flintshire 10k 2006

The comeback race. For myself another comeback - following lots of physio rehab and retraining . And for pal & neighbour Glyn a comeback race after a year or few away from running . For anyone who has not yet managed to run this wonderful 10k , I recommend it 100% for friendliness, for a challenge 2 laps with a hill along the 2nd & 4th kilometer- and its in Mold a wonderful little town in North Wales. (not that i am biased, much ).
Well done to all runners especially Buckley runners & friends Nichola Bowness (good luck in New York Marathon soon) and well done Glyn on your come back .

A little plea to Flintshire County Council- in future years please avoid having the 10k race the day after the Mold Food Festival. That would allow punters to enjoy both, including the real ales on sale on Saturday. A big thanks however to the organiser of the Food Festival- please avoid the 10k weekend. I see that the Food festival has set a date for 2007 as 22nd & 23rd September.

Some results from the 10k
