What a good day.
A new race to me
My first 'Trail race'-
The downpours held off, while we were running.
The scenary STUNNING.
The company great.
a personal best :-) - it was always going to be as it was my first 11k race .
And for the second time in 4 days a race where i was beaten on the line - well it felt like it . But also the second time when i felt that was ok - cos the chasing runner helped me with pace.
Big thanks to him, and to the good folk of DENBIGH HARRIERS for organising the race .
Great to see Buckley Runners pals- well done all - especially Alison for finishing , though it hurt.
Rory & Liz- as you were both faster than me - maybe i'm getting slower?
or most probably you both are getting better ! (thats my story) and the fact than i raced only on the Thursday before the Sunday of this race- & i',m training for lonnnngggger distances. Excuses ?
& Good to see Lorraisne & Jill - & L. making a comeback from running retirement- well done in the persuasion stakes Jill, and L. to finish with a smile of your face. Maybe you had already seen the delights of the grey with pink motif T shirt and the free yoghourt. :-)
